Arsenal were held to a goalless draw at home to Crystal Palace on Thursday night in the Premier League – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter praised their goalkeeper Bernd Leno for his performance.
The Gunners went into the contest on the back of three consecutive league matches, but had to settle for a 0-0 draw at the Emirates Stadium after failing to find a breakthrough against their opponents.
Mikel Arteta’s side may have felt they could have snatched the three points with chances going forward, but lacked a cutting edge and forward Alexandre Lacazette was left a little isolated at tmes.
The North London club were perhaps fortunate in the first-half too that they had a goalkeeper in stunning individual form.
Leno made a couple of top-class saves for his side, including one on the stroke of half-time where his outstretched arm kept out a Christian Benteke header.
The 28-year-old shot-stopper has been one of the most consistent Arsenal performers during a mixed season so far for the club, which is why it was no surprise to see him impressing yet again.

A selection of Arsenal supporters on social media waxed lyrical about the German goalkeeper for his latest display tonight:
