Bernd Leno was let down by his defence once again, several Arsenal fans are saying.
Arsenal drew 2-2 at home with lowly Southampton in yet another disappointing result. The winless run goes on and Unai Emery faces increasing calls to walk.
Danny Ings fired Southampton into the lead early in the match before Alexandre Lacazette equalised. With less than 20 minutes remaining, Southampton retook the lead – despite Leno’s best efforts.

The German stopper saved James Ward-Prowse’s penalty but the English midfielder tapped in the rebound. Arsenal were eventually saved by a 96th-minute equaliser from Lacazette.
Leno has made the most saves of any goalkeeper in the Premier League. This is a testament to his fine form but it also highlights a major concern with Arsenal’s defence. The Gunners are conceding way too many shots and Leno does not have a chance.
Arsenal fans took to Twitter to praise Leno after Saturday’s draw with Southampton. Despite conceding two, he impressed with his overall performance and his penalty save. Here are some of the best tweets.
