Granit Xhaka has made a positive comment regarding Arsenal’s form – but some of the club’s fans on Twitter are furious with him.
Xhaka, 28, is an ever-present in the Gunners midfield, and he’s linked up with his country Switzerland during the international break.
The £35million star (BBC) has done an interview where he’s spoken positively about Arsenal’s recent results.
“Things are clearly better once more, what with our win over Tottenham & reaching the Europa League quarter-finals in style,” Xhaka said, as quoted by the Sun.
A selection of Arsenal supporters on social media though are questioning the midfielder’s mentality, as they don’t share the same kind of view that now is the time to be pleased.

Mikel Arteta’s side have picked up eight points from their last four league games, including the precious 2-1 victory over north London rivals Tottenham.
But it’s worth noting they are sat down in ninth in the league table.
Additionally, they have qualified for the Europa League quarter-finals and face Slavia Prague in the next round.
They knocked out Greek opposition Olympiacos 3-2 on aggregate, but they did end up losing the second leg 1-0.
It seems like Arsenal can still salvage a decent season if they manage to go the distance in the Europa League, albeit there are still some strong teams left in the competitions, but they can’t be pleased with how their domestic campaign looks as a whole.
