Arsenal host Burnley on Sunday night in the Premier League – and in the build-up some of the club’s fans on Twitter have urged manager Mikel Arteta to start defender Cedric Soares.
The Gunners welcome Burnley to the Emirates Stadium in the league, as 15th plays 18th in a match both teams will be desperate to pick up three points in.
Arteta’s side cruised through their Europa League group with six wins from six to reach the knockouts, but domestically they’ve been poor and have 13 points from 11 league games so far.
The North London club desperately need to get their act together quickly if they want to try achieve their pre-season ambitions and it feels like a must-win fixture against Burnley.

A selection of Gunners fans on social media have made it clear they want to see Cedric included in the XI.
The Portugal international, who has 33 senior caps for his country, is yet to play a single minute in the league this season and is behind teammate Hector Bellerin in the pecking order at full-back.
But the 29-year-old right-back has featured in all six European games with some success, including in Thursday night’s 4-2 victory over Dundalk.
With Bellerin under the spotlight right now, perhaps it could be an option to throw Cedric in.
