Arsenal face Slavia Prague on Thursday night in a Europa League showdown – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter have suggested in the build-up that Reiss Nelson should be promoted to the starting XI.
The Gunners are preparing to face Slavia tomorrow in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final tie.
Opponents Slavia have already knocked out British clubs Leicester City and Rangers en route to the quarter-finals of the competition.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have eliminated Benfica and Olympiacos so far in the knockout stages.
Mikel Arteta’s side go into the match off the back of a 3-0 hammering against Liverpool at the weekend, and they know the Europa League is their most realistic avenue into Europe next season.

A selection of Arsenal supporters on social media have suggested that youngster Nelson is recalled to the XI, but in an unusual right wing-back position.
The Gunners play a back four usually, but the injury to left-back Kieran Tierney has posed so many questions regarding the team selection.
21-year-old Nelson has been a fringe player this season for the north London club, but some fans on Twitter believe it could be time to try him in a new position.
He’s a right-winger with great pace, but has found minutes hard to come by under Arteta.
There are some who feel he could be effective if Arsenal switched to a three at the back system with wing-backs, and it’s a role Nelson played very briefly back under former manager Arsene Wenger.
It certainly would be a massive shock to see a change of system to accommodate Nelson tomorrow.
