Folarin Balogun scored once again for Arsenal’s Under-23 side on Monday – and Gunners fans discussed what is next for the striker after another goal.
The 20-year-old striker has been in incredible form for the club’s Under-23 side this season. In nine PL2 games, Balogun has already scored 11 goals.
Of course, the New York-born striker started the first game of the season and has made three senior appearances for Arsenal during 2021-22.
Captaining the 23’s, Balogun lead Kevin Betsy’s side out in what was an enthralling game – ending with a late winner from Balogun, to win 3-2.
Mika Biereth and Omari Hutchinson opened the scoring in the first half, only for Blackburn to come back and level the game at 2-2.
Brooke Norton-Cuffy was shown a straight red card, leaving Arsenal down to 10 men and in danger of defeat. But Balogun came alive to score.
The four-time England Under-21 international, turning inside the penalty area and finishing well as Blackburn failed to clear an Arsenal corner.

What are Arsenal fans saying about Balogun after Monday strike?
It is an interesting time for Balogun. His 11 goals in nine is proof he is too good for PL2. But he is not good enough for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Having penned a contract until 2025, his future is at Arsenal. But does he need a loan move in January in order to gain some regular senior football?
Arsenal fans have responded to Balogun scoring another goal. Many praised him, while some believe he needs to go up to the next level.
