Arsenal fans love what Albert Sambi Lokonga did during Chelsea clash

Arsenal lost 2-1 to Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium yesterday in their latest pre-season outing and Albert Sambi Lokonga caught the eye with a neat performance.

The youngster checked in from Anderlecht during the summer. He is deemed a talented youngster and a player who can continue improving at Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta had been keen to bolster his midfield ranks and opted to land the 21-year-old talent. He has looked impressive during pre-season and supporters are keen to see more of him.

With Arteta confirming Granit Xhaka is set to stay at the club, it remains to be seen what role Lokonga will play. Thomas Partey did pick up another injury yesterday, however, and that could help the Belgian.

Lokonga shone at Anderlecht. He made 78 appearances, scoring three goals and claiming seven assists. He’s also recently earned a call-up to the Belgium squad for the first time.

It would seem as though the youngster has an eye for a pass. A moment of magic from him yesterday carved open the Chelsea defenders and left supporters in awe.

Arsenal fans excited by Lokonga

The Gunners faithful weren’t happy about losing to Chelsea, although they did have time to praise the talented young Belgian.

He showcased some raw talent and Arsenal fans are excited by what is to come from Lokonga in the future.

His ball was sublime and his second-half cameo was positive on the whole.

Arsenal have needed midfield reinforcements and Lokonga looks like a player who could be set for a bright future.
