Arsenal fans in awe of Olivier Giroud performance against Liverpool
The Frenchman led from the front as Chelsea defeated the Reds in the FA Cup.
Chelsea beat Liverpool 2-0 in the FA Cup last night with Olivier Giroud handed a rare chance to impress. It would seem, looking at Twitter, that Arsenal fans would love him back at the Emirates Stadium.
The 33-year-old signed for Chelsea in 2018 for £18 million ending a six-year association in North London with the Gunners.

This season under the management of Frank Lampard the World Cup winner has struggled for game time.
There was some speculation that Tottenham might make a move for his services in January but he opted to stay put at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal fans clearly still rate Giroud and it would seem that many supporters didn’t want him to leave.
In 253 games for the Gunners, he scored 105 goals and registered 41 assists, proving a vitally underrated part of their team.
Arsenal are currently languishing in 10th place in the Premier League and they would have dearly loved a player like Giroud this season.

His hold up play is solid whilst he has also come up trumps in big games throughout his career.
Following his performance, last night Arsenal fans reacted on Twitter and it seems crystal clear that some would have him back in a heartbeat.
Here is a selection of tweets from Arsenal supporters regarding Giroud’s performance.

Giroud doesn't look like Giroud in a Chelsea shirt.
There's something about that Arsenal jersey that makes him stand out.— IAMCenthiva (@Centhiva) March 3, 2020
Good game of football, well played chelsea. Gilmour looks a talent. Its those sort of performances from Giroud that Arsenal miss, an asset. Has to to stay in that chelsea line up till seasons end.

Giroud showed today he’s still a quality striker and should easily be Chelsea’s number one
