Arsenal fans go wild for Dani Ceballos performance against Burnley

Dani Ceballos made his first Arsenal start on Saturday against Burnley – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter raved about the quality of his performance.

The Gunners recorded a 2-1 home victory at the Emirates Stadium in the early kick-off, which temporarily moved them to the top of the Premier League table with two wins from two.

Alexandre Lacazette opened the scoring for Unai Emery’s side, as he manoeuvred space well for himself from a corner and slotted his finish through the legs of goalkeeper Nick Pope.

Visitors Burnley did equalise though just before half-time, as in-form Ashley Barnes scored from close-range.

The North London club weren’t denied through points though, as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fired in a finish from outside the box after a positive run forward.

A selection of Arsenal supporters on social media picked out Ceballos for his individual display and were delighted with their summer recruit.

The 23-year-old came off the bench in the opening day win over Newcastle, but was promoted to the starting XI against Burnley.

He’s an attacking midfielder that played as part of a trio in the centre of the park and dictated play for the hosts.

Ceballos had a hand in setting up both goals and is going to add a lot offensively to Emery’s team.

The Spanish playmaker also showed an immense work-rate to win the ball back and it looks like he’s quickly won over the support of the Arsenal faithful.
