Arsenal fans frustrated with reported interest in Wigan youngster Kyle Joseph

Arsenal are being linked with youngster Kyle Joseph from League One outfit Wigan Athletic – and some Gunners fans on Twitter are bitterly underwhelmed by the speculation.

The Mirror claims that Mikel Arteta’s men are weighing up a possible swoop to sign him at the end of the season.

It is stated that the 19-year-old’s deal with Wigan expires in less than six months time, meaning he’ll be available to sign in the summer window on a free transfer.

Additionally, the report names Scottish pair Rangers and Celtic are possible suitors, as well as other clubs across Europe.

Joseph is a fairly unknown talent still to English audiences, but he’s made his senior breakthrough at Wigan this campaign.

The centre-forward has scored five goals in 14 League One fixtures so far this season, as bigger clubs begin to look at a rising talent playing in the third-tier of English football.
