Arsenal are in talks over a swoop for Paris Saint-Germain right back Thomas Meunier this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
They report that the French champions want £30 million for the Belgian international defender but the Gunners only have £45 million in to spend in the window.
That apparently means the Gunners are looking to do a deal at closer to £20 million, as Unai Emery looks to beef up a defence that was porous last season.
The lack of Champions League football has been something of a killer to Arsenal with regards attracting players – as well as affording them.

Emery was in charge of PSG when they signed Meunier back in 2016 and looks keen to land the 27-year-old for a second time this summer.
But the Gunners faithful are less than enthused, with many of them taking to Twitter to urge their club to end the talks with Meunier.
Interestingly, one cited him as a bad character, but many just feel he isn’t good enough or that other positions are a priority. After all, Arsenal do have Hector Bellerin to come back in at right back…
