Arsenal fans discuss signing QPR star Eberechi Eze

Eberechi Eze is one of the most in-demand English players currently on the market this summer after the Queens Park Rangers star sparkled throughout 2019-20 – and Arsenal fans have discussed a potential move.

Still just 22 years of age, Eze sparkled during last season’s Championship campaign. Playing every single Championship match for Mark Warburton’s side – he had a hand in 22 goals, scoring 14 and creating eight.

Those stats have seen Premier League clubs come calling. The Sun claim Leeds, West Ham and Tottenham are all interested in signing Eze, while Newcastle, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have all been linked.

The Daily Mail claimed this week that Palace saw a £12million offer rejected with QPR wanting closer to £18million. But the chances of Eze remaining at QPR come October 5th are almost at zero.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are expected to bring in some new faces this summer but they will do it with Mikel Arteta’s hands tied – due to a limited transfer budget. The FA Cup win, though, could convince some players.

TransferMarkt claim he is represented by the Base Soccer Agency, who also look after Dele Alli, James Maddison and even Arsenal loanee Mo Elneny. The Daily Star, meanwhile, have reported that Eze is on Arsenal’s radar.

Arsenal supporters took to Twitter upon hearing that Palace had seen a bid rejected for London-born Eze, and many fans urged their club to consider a move for the England Under-21 international.
