Arsenal have a number of burgeoning young talents coming through their ranks. Yesterday, Mika Biereth showcased his talents with a stunning performance during a 6-1 win over Chelsea for the Under-23 ranks.

It was a relatively strong Arsenal team. Folarin Balogun got some minutes, whilst Charlie Patino was also handed the chance to start the game.

It was Biereth who stole the show though. The striker partnered Balogun attack and helped himself to a wonderful hat-trick against their London rivals.

He linked up superbly well with Balogun and the duo played with smiles on their faces during the first 38 minutes of the clash.

When the first-team hopeful was withdrawn after 38 minutes, Biereth picked up the goalscoring mantle.

He scored another two goals following his strike partner leaving the field and caught the eye of boss Kevin Betsy.

Biereth was formerly a part of the Fulham academy ranks but is now highly rated in the Hale End academy.

His performance yesterday saw him score his second, third and fourth goals of the campaign and the future looks very bright.

What have Arsenal fans said about Biereth?

After yesterday’s outing, supporters have been quick to praise his impact, with many hoping to see more from him this season.
