Arsenal fans discuss performance of 21-year-old star during Young Lions victory
Arsenal youngster Emile Smith Rowe enjoyed a night to remember on the international stage. He fired the winner as the England under-21s won 1-0 against Andorra.
England’s youngsters were made to work for their victory. Rhian Brewster was sent off for a second yellow card and Lee Carsley’s men had to dig deep.
It was Smith Rowe who stole the show though. His form continues to improve and this certainly bodes well for Arsenal as the season progresses.
The 21-year-old has been a mainstay in the Gunners team this season and was outstanding during a recent North London derby.
Smith Rowe is now doing bits on the international stage and surely he’ll be the next player to break into the senior ranks.
Gareth Southgate has placed his trust in youth during recent tournaments and perhaps Smith Rowe will be eyeing the World Cup.
Last night’s showing was typically energetic from the Arsenal star. He was also named Player of the Match for his efforts.
Smith Rowe has the backing of Mikel Arteta. He is clearly thriving amid regular first-team football and England are now benefitting.

It’s fair to say they were immensely proud to see their main man doing great things with the England under-21s.
The only surprise from their perspective is that it wasn’t the senior ranks he was called up for his time.
Perhaps there is still stuff for Smith Rowe to work on. Consistency will come over time and perhaps he could chip in with more goal contributions too.
