Paulo Dybala starred for Juventus as they took a giant leap towards a ninth consecutive Serie A title as Maurizio Sarri’s men earned a narrow 2-1 win over fourth-placed Lazio – and Arsenal fans have discussed the Argentine ace.
Cristiano Ronaldo took his tally to 30 Serie A goals in 30 league outings with a brace, opening the scoring from the penalty spot after a controversial VAR check ruled that a handball was inside Lazio’s penalty area.
Ronaldo dispatched the spot-kick past Thomas Strakosha, who went the right way. Ronaldo was handed a second goal on a plate, as the unselfish Dybala raced through on goal before squaring to Ronaldo to tap home.
Ciro Immobile scored late on but Juve did enough to go eight points clear – with just four games to play. Though Ronaldo took the plaudits, Dybala was excellent throughout the match.

The 26-year-old has had a hand in 31 goals during 46 appearances this season, scoring 17 and creating 14 more. Playing as a second striker, the Argentina international has been a crucial part of Sarri’s Juve side.
Dybala almost joined Tottenham last summer, only for image rights to scupper a deal. Now, Arsenal fans discussed a move to sign the striker and many suggested a swap deal for Dybala – and Alexandre Lacazette going the other way.
Last week, French site Le10Sport claimed Juve had been in talks to sign Lacazette for a number of days. Gunners fans want a Dybala-Lacazette swap, while others drooled over the South American star’s display.
