Arsenal manager Unai Emery is coming under increasing pressure as Gunners boss after a disappointing 2-2 draw against Southampton at The Emirates on Saturday – and some Arsenal fans have considered Leeds gaffer Marcelo Bielsa on Twitter.

Alexandre Lacazette saved a point for Arsenal on Saturday with an injury-time equaliser after James Ward-Prowse had given Southampton a 2-1 lead in the second half. Danny Ings and Lacazette had previously scored for both sides in the first half.

The Mail claimed in an exclusive over the weekend that the Arsenal board have become fed up with Emery, even though Edu and Raul Sanllehi want to give Emery time. They have drawn up a three-man shortlist to replace Emery.

Mauricio Pochettino has a ‘remote’ possibility following his Tottenham Hotspur dismissal, while Max Allegri is being strongly considered as the Italian remains out of work. He has since been learning English after his Juventus exit.

Manchester City assistant and former Arsenal skipper Mikel Arteta is also an option. Bielsa, meanwhile, is continually impressing as Leeds manager as he pushes the Whites closer to the Premier League. They sit second in the Championship.

Arsenal fans are active on Twitter in their bid to convince their club to oust Emery, and many believe replacing Emery with Bielsa would be excellent business. The former Argentina boss is currently earning a whopping £77k-a-week at Leeds (Mirror).
