Arsenal fans demand January spending on defenders after unbeaten run ends
Arsenal may have remained unbeaten since the third match of the Premier League season, but in recent weeks, the improvements that still needed to be made under Unai Emery were beginning to become clear.
Arsene Wenger handed over a defence that has long since not been fit for purpose and as Emery attempts to implement a high defensive line, there are still likely to be teething problems.
That was shown in yesterday’s 3-2 defeat against Southampton, where some of the Gunners’ defending was suspect to say the least.
Bernt Leno and Laurent Koscielny were among the worst offenders, and perhaps the impact the absence of Rob Holding will have on this improving Arsenal side also became clear.
With the January transfer window coming up, Arsenal fans have turned their attention on what their manager can do to improve the side next month and it seems there is a clear consensus on where they want the bulk of the spending to be done; that defence.
While it remains to be seen what value can be found in January – Arsenal did not exactly flash the cash during the summer – we’ve taken a look at some Arsenal fans’ demands for the winter window…
Koscielny has to go, he's such a bad player and has brought us back to the Wenger days.

The problem is Arsenal know their problem, they have the means to address them but will take eternity to solve them. Spend good money on some quality centre backs. Jeeez!!!
