Arsenal have recovered some decent form after their horrific start to life post-lockdown. The Gunners are now unbeaten in five and still have hopes of playing European football next season.
Several players have stepped up their form in that time. Kieran Tierney, Emi Martinez, and Bukayo Saka have been particularly impressive. But one player’s turnaround has certainly caught the attention of several Arsenal fans.
Granit Xhaka has put in a string of decent performances in recent weeks.
The Swiss international appears to have rescued his Arsenal career under the management of Mikel Arteta and it is quite the reversal considering his low point in October.
Xhaka was booed by fans after a sub-par performance against Crystal Palace and responded with his own vitriol.
The fall-out saw Xhaka stripped of the Arsenal captaincy and saw the player heavily linked with an Arsenal exit.
But it seems some fans are now ready to forgive him over the incident.
His recent form and renewed commitment has helped some Arsenal fans get over his October misdemeanor and plenty are just happy he is now performing at a high level.
