Manchester United and Arsenal played out a low-quality 1-1 draw at Old Trafford last night, with the Gunners rescuing a point through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s second half equaliser.
It was a home side there for the taking but Unai Emery’s men never really got going all night, following up a slow start by allowing Scott McTominay to put them 1-0 behind right on the stroke of half time.
They improved immediately after Aubameyang’s goal, gifted to them by Axel Tuanzebe, but Arsenal were perhaps fortunate to escape with draw.
That’s because McTominay headed over in the second half when it was easier to score and it was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men who were in the ascendancy for much of the game’s closing stages.

In the aftermath of the match, many Gunners fans on Twitter took Emery to task for fielding a midfield three of all defensive players.
They failed to take the match to United and the supporters were frustrated with Emery and laid the blame at his door online.
The frustration is growing with Emery and even though the Gunners look better placed than United to challenge for the top four, they want a change of manager to oversee it…
