Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored again on another frustrating afternoon for Arsenal.
Aubameyang put Arsenal ahead against Wolverhampton Wanderers at The Emirates Stadium. It was a fine finish from Alexandre Lacazette’s pass and his 50th goal since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund.
It was also a proud day for the Gabon international, who was given the captain’s armband. Aubameyang skippered the side in the absence of Granit Xhaka and is the most likely contender to land the captaincy on a full-time basis.

But despite Aubameyang’s individual heroics, Arsenal once again blew a lead. Raul Jimenez fired in a header with less than 15 minutes to go to earn Wolves a draw. Gunners fans were once again disappointed.
Despite the poor run of form, Arsenal fans remain grateful to have Aubameyang as their striker. The 30-year-old is a lethal striker who has proven his consistency in North London. Arsenal fans will be hoping he stays beyond this season to lead the club into a new era.
Here are some tweets from Arsenal fans congratulating Aubameyang for reaching his landmark goal.
