Arsenal are now likely to be without Kai Havertz for the rest of the season amid reports claiming the Germany international has suffered a hamstring injury.
Kai Havertz reportedly sustained the injury during Arsenal’s warm-weather training camp in Dubai, with an assessment undertaken upon their return to London on Tuesday.
Scan results are understood to have confirmed that Havertz is unlikely to play again this season, although it has yet to be decided whether he will require surgery.
The reports have left the Arsenal fanbase reeling, with Mikel Arteta now without a recognised centre-forward in his ranks.
A number of Arsenal fans have now claimed that the club actively made a big mistake in the summer that has come back to bite them.

Arsenal fans bemoan club decision to sell Mika Biereth
Arsenal fans believe the club should not have sold Mika Biereth last summer, as they feel he would have been a good replacement for Havertz.
“Biereth was our man,” wrote one fan. “One of the biggest mistakes in many years.”
Another one said: “I knew we shouldn’t have sold Mika Biereth and kept him over Jesus.”
The comments kept coming, with one fan saying: “Mika Biereth would have flourished for us as a CF during these next run of games.
“Let the academy CF have minutes create as much for them and surely they can finish…”
Another wrote: “It sucks. But Watkins wasn’t and isn’t the answer. No-one else was available worth signing.
“The mistake was selling Biereth… club did the right thing summer was always the priority.”
And another said: “I really wanted Biereth to stay this season and be given opportunities, I’m happy he’s smashing it in Monaco.
“I just don’t want to think much with this Arsenal situation.”
How Mika Biereth is doing seven months after Arsenal exit
Biereth joined Arsenal’s academy from Fulham in 2021 and made a name for himself at youth level for the Gunners.
However, he never made a competitive senior appearance, though he took in loans at RKC Waalwijk, Motherwell and Sturm Graz.
Biereth moved permanently to the latter for £4million in July last summer, and he registered 23 goals and nine assists in 47 appearances for Graz.
AS Monaco then snapped Biereth up in January as they reportedly paid around £12.7million for his services.
The Denmark Under-21 forward’s move to Monaco saw Arsenal earn a sell-on clause windfall reported to be around seven figures.
Biereth has four goals and one assist from five Monaco appearances, including a hat-trick in their 4-2 win over Auxerre earlier this month.
