Arsenal fans can’t get over this stat following Martinelli heroics in Crystal Palace win

Arsenal supporters are scratching their heads in disbelief over an incredible stat that was uncovered following last night’s 3-1 win against Crystal Palace.

Nicolas Pepe and Gabriel Martinelli were the heroes on the night as the two attackers pushed the Gunners through to victory in Roy Hodgson’s last home game in charge as manager of Palace.

Though following from the full-time whistle, a stat from AFC Stuff surfaced on Twitter showing off a remarkable achievement.

The stat revealed that Arsenal have never lost a Premier League game in which a teenage player has scored in, with the Gunners winning 50 out of the 60 matches such an occurrence has happened. Martinelli, who is 19-years-old, scored the vital goal last night to put Arsenal back in front against Palace.

Last night’s win put Arsenal in a good position to qualify for the UEFA Conference League, with Everton set to play Manchester City on the final day of the season whilst Tottenham play Leicester City away from home.
