Arsenal midfielder Denis Suarez has confirmed he will miss the rest of the season thanks to his niggling groin problem.
The Spaniard has played just 95 minutes of football since joining the club on loan in January from Barcelona.

He hasn’t started a single match, with the club having spent £3.2 million on the player (£2.5 million loan fee, £55,000-a-week wages).
In a statement uploaded to his social media, he said: “I will not be able to play again this season. Some issues with my groin have made things tough since the game against BATE in the Europa League in February and now they have forced me to stop training altogether.”
Suarez issued an apology, and his proposed permanent summer move now looks highly unlikely.

Arsenal have the option to buy the playmaker for £20 million (The Express), but realistically that will not happen since he has done nothing to prove he’d be worth it.
Suarez’s time at Arsenal is reminiscent of the bizarre Kim Kallstrom deal of 2014.
Arsene Wenger signed the Swede who was injured at the time and only made four appearances for the club.
