Arsenal confirmed on Saturday evening that Bukayo Saka is available for selection tomorrow – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter are excited by the announcement.

The Gunners boss Mikel Arteta was previously unsure earlier in the week whether or not the 19-year-old would be able to play this weekend due to an injury problem, but the club have confirmed the good news on their official website.

They are preparing to face London rivals West Ham on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League.

Arsenal should go into the game with confidence, earning seven points from their last three league matches.

Additionally, they are in the Europa League quarter-finals after beating Olympiacos, albeit they did lose the second on Thursday night.

A selection of Arsenal supporters on social media have been given a big lift by the injury news tonight.

Saka, who is from the club’s academy, has remarkably been a talisman at the Emirates Stadium despite being such a young age.

The pacy winger has six goals and seven assists this season in all competitions.

He was left out of Thursday’s match with Olympiacos as a precaution due to a right hamstring problem, but he’s responded well in training and is ready to play should Arteta pick him in the XI.

Here are some Arsenal fans encouraged ahead of tomorrow’s game:
