Arsenal fans buzzing with confirmed Alexandre Lacazette injury boost

Arsenal have confirmed that Alexandre Lacazette is back in full training – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are excited about the update on him.

The Gunners have confirmed (official website) that the forward has returned to “full training” and a decision will be made on what role he will play on Monday night away to Sheffield United in the Premier League.

He has only managed to play three games so far all season due to an ankle problem and has had to watch on from the sidelines at the Emirates Stadium.

Lacazette, 28, did manage two goals in those three matches though and can add some quality in attack to Unai Emery’s team when playing.

The French striker netted 19 goals and managed 13 assists last season across all competitions in 49 games.

He’s got an incredible understanding with teammate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and is going to add even more attacking firepower when he plays.

A selection of Gunners supporters on social media are over the moon that Lacazette is back and believe he can make a major impact on them.

Emery may be wise to be cautious with recalling him to the team and the trip to Sheffield United in the league is likely to be a physical battle.
