Arsenal travel to Burnley on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter are desperate to see Gabriel Martinelli recalled to the side.
The Gunners visit Turf Moor tomorrow in a league fixture, as they look to try build upon some decent momentum they have that was helped by beating Leicester City in the previous match.
Arsenal have a Europa League fixture to bare in mind next Thursday against Olympiacos, but the Burnley match has to be the immediate priority.
The North London outfit are 10th in the league standings right now, but will temporally climb a place with three points.
A selection of Arsenal supporters on social media have rallied together to demand their rarely-seen attacker gets a chance.
Martinelli, who earns £90,000-a-week (Spotrac), hasn’t started a match since January and has spent most of his time watching from the bench.
The 19-year-old is a versatile forward that can play on the wing or through the middle, but the competition in the attacking area of the pitch is fierce.
He’s having to show great patience after playing very little football since coming back from a serious knee injury, but fans have seen in the past the Brazilian teenager’s ability.
Here are some Arsenal fans crying out for Martinelli to get a chance against Burnley:
