Arsenal are in the mix with Tottenham and Everton to secure the signature of Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria.
According to Bild, via The Sun, the Premier League trio are all preparing to pounce on a cut-price deal.
Monchengladbach are prepared to sell their midfield battering ram for a fee in the region of £17 million.
The trio are all keen to bring the player to the Premier League this summer, with Zakaria keen to end his time in Germany.

The Switzerland midfielder has played 128 times for his current club since arriving in 2017 from Young Boys.
Now, he looks like seeking a move away from the club, with Premier League clubs preparing offers.
Arsenal on the face of things might welcome a midfield of Zakaria’s ilk into their ranks.
The Gunners have Mo Elneny and Granit Xhaka, but the Swiss star would certainly provide a more long-term solution.
Right now he earns just £55,000-a-week and that would be well within Arsenal’s salary structure.
Arsenal fans not sure what to make of Zakaria
It’s fair to say this link hasn’t been met with an overly excited reaction from the Arsenal fan base.
The Gunners wouldn’t have to pay a fortune for Zakaria but that hasn’t stopped supporters showing a pessimistic stance.

Plenty see Zakaria being backup to Xhaka on the international stage as detrimental and don’t believe he will improve the team.
Here is what they had to say following the links to the Switzerland midfielder which have emerged in the last couple of days.
