Arsenal fans applaud Kieran Tierney despite Tottenham defeat
Arsenal’s miserable run of form in the Premier League continued as they lost 2-0 to fierce rivals Tottenham.
First-half strikes from Son Heung-min and Harry Kane ensured north London bragging rights for Jose Mourinho as his team went back to the summit of the Premier League.
Mikel Arteta’s woes domestically continue though.
His team were second best throughout the contest and after beating Manchester United at Old Trafford they are now without a Premier League win in four games.

The Gunners have dropped a place to 15th in the league and are only seven points above the relegation zone.
Arteta will know he has work to do if he is to get his team out of this difficult situation and he could do with more players like Kieran Tierney.
The left-back was once again the team’s standout performer and the £80,000-a-week star continues to improve.
Following this latest disappointing result supporters did give some credit to the Scotland international for his efforts.
He tried to maraud forward throughout, with the quality of his crossing particularly impressive.
Supporters took to social media to spare him from any criticism for another abject display.
Here is what the Gunners contingent were saying about the 23-year-old.
The quality of Tierney's crosses are phenomenal. If only we had a striker who is good at heading a football.

Feel sorry for the lad, so much promise and does all the right things but doesn't get enough praise for it because it's shadowed over our lackluster performances

I don’t get the obsession with crossing now. We have zero strikers good in the air but yet we continue to cross? Dumbfounded

If Martinelli can keep working on his headers. He could be a serious threat.

Bukayo Saka
Kieran Tierney
Gabriel Magalhães
Alex LacazetteOnly players who showed anything today.

Gabriel Magalhães & Kieran Tierney were our best two performers today. If nothing else, at least they looked up for the game. It’s more than can be said for the majority of their teammates.

The only two players i like in that @Arsenal team are Tierney and Saka
