Arsenal thrashed West Brom 4-0 at the Hawthorns on Saturday night – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter singled out Kieran Tierney for huge praise after his eye-catching performance on the road.

The Gunners extended their winning run in the Premier League to three games by securing three points away to 19th-placed West Brom.

Mikel Arteta’s side jumped up to 11th in the league table with their latest victory, as they begin to build up some real momentum after what had been a shocking start to the domestic season.

Tierney opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with a thunderbolt effort on his weaker right foot, before Bukayo Saka added a second shortly after by finishing off a superb team goal that will surely take some beating for goal of the month.

In-form striker Alexandre Lacazette scored a quick-fire brace in the second-half to add gloss to the scoreline in a contest they dominated from start to finish.

A selection of Arsenal supporters on social media were in awe of the performance from their all-action defender Tierney.

The 23-year-old left-back ran his socks off for the entire game at West Brom and his overlapping runs from full-back proved too much for the opposition.

Aside from his stunning goal, he picked up his second assist of the season with a cross for Lacazette and he’s developing into a key player on the pitch for the North London outfit.
