Arsenal fans amazed by Alexandre Lacazette display in 4-0 win over Slavia Prague

Arsenal cruised into the Europa League semi-finals with an emphatic win on Thursday night – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter were blown away by the performance of their star Alexandre Lacazette.

Gunners striker Lacazette, who captained his team, scored twice during a 4-0 victory away to Slavia Prague.

The tie was evenly poised after a 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Emirates Stadium, but Mikel Arteta’s side thrashed their Czech opponents on Thursday to reach the last four, and set up a tie against Villarreal.

Nicolas Pepe, Lacazette and Bukayo Saka each scored inside the opening 25 minutes to kill of the game early on.

Frenchman Lacazette then added a second in the second half, which was his 17th goal of the season across all competitions.

He’s come into a rich vein of goalscoring form lately, and now has back-to-back braces.

A selection of Arsenal supporters on social media picked him out as a real talisman, as he helped link up play as the central striker and also tucked away two chances.

His first was a composed penalty that he put into the bottom corner, before a second where he created space for himself so well in the penalty box and fired in a composed finish with his weaker left foot.
