Arsenal fans have made a major claim about Bukayo Saka after Noni Madueke’s electric performance against Nottingham Forest.
Madueke joined Arsenal in the summer transfer window, and some eyebrows were raised about it due to his inconsistent performances for Chelsea.
However, the 23-year-old has impressed since joining the Gunners, giving fans a clear look at his capability from the right wing.
Madueke thrived for England during the recent international break, and he seems to have taken the confidence from those performances and the praise he received into his latest outing for Arsenal.

Arsenal fans believe Bukayo Saka is returning to the bench due to Noni Madueke
Saka is currently out injured, so Mikel Arteta started Madueke down the right-hand side against Forest. His attacking qualities were on full display as he put in another great performance.
Madueke brought tons of energy from the first minute, making clever runs with and without the ball to cause problems throughout the game as Arsenal went on to win 3-0.
Even though Saka has been one of Arsenal’s best players since he first broke into the team, fans now believe he will be benched for Madueke when he returns.
One fan was impressed by what they saw from Madueke, claiming he is “making sure we don’t even think of Saka while he’s out.”
Meanwhile, another stated, “Saka has got some real competition for the starting right wing Noni Madueke has been really good today.”
Given that Arsenal fans didn’t love Madueke’s signing in the first place, one person admitted they were ” surprised” by his performance.
Another claimed that Madueke has “shown more threats from the right wing than Saka,” as they hope to see more of the ex-Chelsea man.
Bukayo Saka might be forced to change position
Given Saka’s natural talent, it is unlikely that Arteta will want to permanently drop him from the starting line-up, regardless of Madueke’s talent.
However, Saka does have the ability to play down the left-hand side, and that is something that could end up taking place for the Gunners.

Given Martin Odegaard’s injury against Forest, Eberechi Eze could be used centrally. This would allow Saka to play on the left while Madueke would then play on the right.
Gary Neville recently questioned whether Saka could play on the left, proving that Madueke’s performances are making people within the game think about Arsenal’s best starting line-up.
