Arsenal, Everton, and Manchester United target Adrien Rabiot shows quality with wonder goal for Juventus

Both Everton and Arsenal have been linked with a move for Adrien Rabiot this summer, as the Frenchman continues to struggle to lay down his marker in Serie A with Juventus. 

The former PSG man completed a free transfer to Juve just last year. But since that move, he has struggled to cement a regular sport in the first XI in Turin, leading to rumours galore surrounding his future.

Indeed, both Everton and Arsenal have been credited with an interest, while Manchester United are also thought to be keeping a close eye on Rabiot’s situation.

However, in a moment of brilliance last night, Rabiot reminded everyone why he is regarded as one of the best central midfield players in Europe on his day.

The French maestro scored a truly brilliant individual goal for Juventus at AC Milan to give them the lead. It was, however, in vain, as Milan roared back to win 4-2.

The goal was, however, a timely reminder of just why Rabiot is so good. Carlo Ancelotti and Mikel Arteta, then, should be sitting up and taking notice.

A quality player who just needs the right environment

There’s no surprise why clubs want to sign Rabiot. The player oozes class and it really is just a shame that things haven’t quite gone how he’d have like over in Italy.

But that moment last night proved his quality. It might have been just a flash of brilliant but few players can do that at the very top level, never mind in a league renowned for its defensive qualities.

With Arsenal looking for a replacement for Matteo Guendouzi and Everton struggling to get a number of their expensive signings to gel and play well, the time could be right to strike for Rabiot.

If he can produce more moments like he showed last night, then the clamour over the summer will only intensify.
