Arsenal star Shkodran Mustafi is reportedly keen to return to his hometown, with Eintracht Frankfurt named as potential suitors.
Sport1 are claiming the 2014 World Cup winner is set to move on from the Emirates Stadium at the end of his contract next year.

There had been some talk about a possible extension for Mustafi, who Arsenal paid a whopping £35 million+ for in 2016 (BBC Sport).
There were also claims recently that Mustafi had rejected an offer from Gunners officials.
Sport1 suggest Mustafi is actually ‘dreaming’ of returning to Bad Hersfeld where he was born, and the publication suggest Mustafi could therefore be an option for Eintracht, with Frankurt just over an hour’s drive away from the state of Hesse.
Mustafi signing a new contract with Arsenal looks quite unlikely at this point following the arrivals of Pablo Mari, William Saliba and most recently, Gabriel Magalhaes.
TBR’s View – A hard one to stomach
Mustafi has had some really good games for Arsenal over the last few years, but unfortunately his tendency to make errors will define his time at the club.

If he is to move on for nothing at the end of his contract, Arsenal will no doubt be recoiling at how much they shelled out for him.
Arguably the best case scenario would be for Arsenal to sell the £90,000-a-week Mustafi (Spotrac) in January and secure a cut-price fee, similar to Tottenham with Christian Eriksen earlier this year.
