Arsenal defender Pablo Mari has taken to Twitter with a video clip of him and other Gunners players in training as he steps up his recovery from injury.
The Spaniard, who joined Arsenal permanently in June from Brazilian club Flamengo, injured his ankle against Manchester City in the first game since the resumption of English football.
And judging by the update he shared on his social media, as well as his positive comments, it looks as though his return is edging closer:
I missed you ⚽️😃 Good feelings on the pitch!!
Te echaba de menos ⚽️😃 Buenas sensaciones en el campo!!
Que saudades eu estava de você ⚽😃 Boas sensações em campo!! pic.twitter.com/TLLjECsMZb

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is likely to talk about Mari at his next pre-match press conference, so even though we can’t be sure just yet when exactly he’ll be available to feature in games, it’s great to see how far he’s come along.
The Gunners secured a shutout in their last Premier League game with a three-man defence of Kieran Tierney, Gabriel Magalhaes and Rob Holding, but with other defenders still ruled out and a long season ahead, Mari’s progress is a welcome update.
