Hector Bellerin should be concerned that Arsenal are reportedly in the market for a quality right-back.

According to 90min, Unai Emery’s side have joined the chase for Nice defender Youcef Atal.

The report explains that rivals Tottenham are also keen on his signature, as well as clubs from Spain, Italy and Germany.

It is understood that enquires have been made about the right-back at French outfit Nice, who currently sit 15th in Ligue 1.

Atal, 23, is one of the standout players at Nice right now and it’s no surprise the speed machine has Premier League suitors.

The Algerian has been directly involved in 10 goals in 41 games since he joined Nice at the beginning of last season and is an upcoming talent.

He is a versatile ace that has shown he can play further forward on the wing, but is a right-back by trade and can be extremely effective with overlapping runs.

With Atal on the Arsenal radar, current Gunners right-back Bellerin should be nervous that he may be replaced at the Emirates Stadium.

The 24-year-old defender has had his dreadful luck with injuries during his career so far, but at one point proved what a talent he can be and many view him as the fix at right-back moving forward.

He’s played just six senior games so far this campaign as he works his way back to full fitness and it would be a huge blow for him if some top-class competition is signed for his position.
