Arsenal fans delighted with Dani Ceballos in Spain win over Romania

The 23-year-old was at his majestic best on international duty.

Arsenal added some genuine quality to their ranks this summer, with Dani Ceballos arguably the pick of the bunch when it comes to new recruits.

The 23-year-old joined on a season-long loan and adds a much-needed injection of creativity to the Gunners midfield.

Kieran Tierney, David Luiz and Nicolas Pepe also arrived at the Emirates; Ceballos, however, looks like the genuine piece of class in Emery’s ranks.

An early prognosis of Ceballos slotting into Arsenal’s team is good and last night he was chosen to start for Spain against Romania.

The Spaniards are still looking to recover from a poor World Cup and the Arsenal loanee was one of the players given a chance to impress last night.

He lasted 76 minutes of a 2-1 victory and was on the pitch long enough to leave the Spanish supporters mesmerised by his intelligent play.

A stunning pass in the build-up to Paco Alcacer’s winning goal drew all the plaudits.

It is the Faroe Islands next up for Spain and Ceballos looks to have done enough to keep his place in Roberto Moreno’s team.

Here is a selection of Tweets from Arsenal fans after a night to remember for Ceballos:
