Arsenal’s game with Manchester City in the Premier League this evening has this morning been postponed and that might be music to the ears of defender Hector Bellerin.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has told Football London that the Spaniard has been playing with a troublesome groin injury for a few months.
The 24-year-old has featured in the last six matches in all competitions but the boss has made the claim that he isn’t fully fit.

He told Football London: “I don’t think there’s a player now that plays completely pain-free. There is always a niggle, always a pain, always an ankle of something.
“Hector has been having some discomfort for a few months, he has been trying to deal with it all the time, his attitude to try and play and be available has been great and there is nothing new.”
Bellerin came through the ranks at Arsenal and has made 195 appearances for the Gunners.
He has lifted the FA Cup twice with the Gunners and if Arteta can get him back to his best, Arsenal have a seriously good right-back.
Bellerin hasn’t been back long following a cruciate knee ligament injury and Arsenal fans will be thankful this isn’t a flare-up of that problem.

He has also suffered from a hamstring problem and Bellerin will hope to rid himself of his niggles during the summer.
Bellerin earns £110,000-a-week at Arsenal is one of the more likeable players with the club’s supporters.
The man with three caps for Spain will desperately hope to kick-start his career during 2020/21 and the summer could be a big one for Bellerin’s fitness.
