There was a time when Josh Kroenke and the Arsenal board were under serious pressure from the fans but for now, that seems to have calmed.
As we know, the Gunners sit top of the Premier League table. With just one game to go before the break for the World Cup, Arsenal know that beating Wolves will see them go into the tournament as league leaders.
Of course, a big part of that has been the influx of new signings and the work carried out by Mikel Arteta. The Spaniard has transformed the club on the pitch. Meanwhile, Edu’s ability to attract new players has also been crucial. And according to The Telegraph, the good feeling at the club is resonating right up to board level.

It’s claimed in The Telegraph’s report that Josh Kroenke is now more engaged than ever at the club. Meanwhile, there is an excitement around the whole club at board level. It seems, for now, that the board at fully bought into the strategy being deployed by Arteta and Edu.
And with January around the corner, that could be good news for Arsenal.
TBR’s View: Arsenal board every right to be happy
It’s amazing how things can change so quickly in football. A few good results, some big signings, and a plan that everyone seems on board with and the whole mood changes.
For Arsenal, they are simply in a good moment. The team is winning, their signings are paying off, and the board’s investment is justified. There really is nothing to be upset about.
The Kroenke’s and the Arsenal board knew they had to commit to a plan and back Arteta. They have done that, and are reaping the rewards. For Arteta, this could mean even more money in January to freshen things up.
If Arsenal do indeed add a face or two in January, then that title might not be as far away as some feel.
