Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah has risked irking the Gunners faithful by publicly praising Tottenham Hotspur talisman Harry Kane.
The north London rivals are currently in the midst of battling with one and other to finish in the all-important fourth Champions League spot.
The pair are bitter rivals and it’s very rare for a player from either side to give credit to anyone from the old enemy.
But speaking on The Beautiful Game Podcast, Nketiah put the rivalry aside and admitted he’s a big fan of Kane.

When asked who he felt was the best player in the Premier League, Nketiah went with Kevin de Bruyne, but he also reserved special praise for England’s captain.
“Kevin de Bruyne, he’s a joke I would say. I like Harry Kane as well to be fair, what he’s doing at the moment is crazy, Kevin de Bruyne though, some of the passes that you see, you just dream of getting on the end of them,” Nketiah said.
It says a lot about the qualities Kane possesses that Nketiah is willing to risk the wrath from Arsenal fans by going public with his praise.

For all of Kane’s goalscoring exploits, Spurs’ number 10 hasn’t been one to blow his own trumpet, he’s grounded and humble individual who is desperate to win team honours.
And with Arsenal’s goalscoring problems enhancing as the season unfolds, Mikel Arteta would love to have Kane at the Emirates Stadium.
The 28-year-old has 22 goals to his name this season which is more than double Arsenal’s top scorers.
Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka are Arsenal’s joint top scorers with 10 goals each across all competitions.
