Arsenal made three top-level additions during the summer transfer window.
The Gunners signed Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino and Raheem Sterling, who joined from Chelsea on deadline day.
It was a largely a productive window, though, they did miss out on a number of targets including Benjamin Sesko and Nico Williams.
It’s now just come to light that Arsenal are reigniting their interest in another summer target who actually rejected them.

Arsenal interested in signing Sam Tickle
According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal are continuing to monitor Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Sam Tickle ahead of the January transfer window.
Tickle actually rejected a move to The Gunners on deadline day as he wanted to continue his development in the lower leagues.
That’s not deterred Arsenal’s interest, however, as their scouts have been seriously impressed by his performances this season.
Tickle has kept seven clean sheets in 10 League One games, which is the highest of any shot-stopper in the division.

Manchester United are also interested in Sam Tickle
Manchester United are also said to be keen on Tickle.
The Red Devils have made checks on the 22-year-old as they look to bring in competition for Andre Onana.
Their current number two Altay Bayindir has hardly featured since arriving during the summer of 2023 and isn’t really applying any pressure on Onana.
The potential arrival of Tickle, who is an England under-21 international, would boost their homegrown status – making his signing more attractive, too.
