Arsenal transfer talk: Gunners reportedly interested in signing 'unbelievable' midfielder
Reported Arsenal target Eduardo Camavinga has been described by his agent as “probably the best young player in the world” and an “unbelievable talent”.
French outlet Le10 Sport reported earlier this week that the Gunners are planning to make a move for the Rennes and France midfielder this summer.
Camavinga, who turned 18 last November, has already made 80 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit and has won three caps for the world champions.
As well as Arsenal, the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have been linked with the talented youngster’s signature.
Camavinga’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, says his client has a multitude of offers and will have his pick of clubs this summer, should he decide to move on.
However, he stressed that the player is in no rush to move, given he’s currently playing for a “good club” where he’s enjoying life.
“Believe me we have a lot of offers for this year, a lot of offers, and good ones,” Barnett told SNTV, via Goal.com. “I mean top, top clubs.
“We don’t want to rush. There is the right time to move on and playing games is the most important thing at his age.
“Playing in a good club is nice for him. It might be this year, or he wants to have another year.
“He has got to talk to his family, his father. We will all sit down and decide. We will talk to Rennes as well and decide. There is no rush for him.
“He’s probably the best young player in the world. He has just turned 18. He has already been a French international. He’s an unbelievable talent.
“He could play in any team in the world. He is still going to be a great talent at 19. It’s not that old you know, 19.”
Despite his young age, Camavinga has already shown he’s a cut above in the French top flight, as shown by the fact he’s already made his debut for the world champions.
Paul Pogba is a huge fan of the youngster – he is quoted by GFFN as saying: “I only wish him the best and much more. He has everything for that. His future is in his hands.
If he continues in the same manner, who knows just how much potential could be untapped and how incredible he could become in a few years’ time – but will Arsenal be the ones to benefit?
