Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City are all in the hunt for teenage midfield sensation Eduardo Camavinga, according to the Daily Mail.

They report that after Camavinga stunned French champions Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday night, putting in a man of the match display as Rennes won 2-1, Premier League sides are queuing up.

The report also says that Tottenham had their eye on the midfielder last season, when he made his breakthrough, and now City and Arsenal, as well as Real Madrid and Barcelona are keen.

16-year-old Camavinga showed maturity beyond his years against the might of PSG and set up the winning goal in a famous victory.

TBR’s View – First Saliba, now the north London rivals could be set for another tussle over a Ligue 1 starlet

Neither Tottenham or Arsenal seem to enjoy regularly paying huge money for established talent on high wages, so it’s hardly surprising that they are in the same market for the next emerging stars.

Arsenal won the battle for William Saliba – seemingly in part because of their rich history of success with French players – and another tussle over a teenage starlet looks to be on the cards.

It’s always best to be careful about overhyping a player still in his teens and his next move will be crucial, but he could be a real coup for whoever gets him next.
