Both Arsenal and Liverpool have been named as interested parties when it comes to signing Inter Milan midfielder, Nicolo Barella.
FC Inter News claims that Barella is wanted by a number of clubs, with the Reds and Gunners among them. Barella, 23, has already wracked up 16 caps for Italy and has developed into one of the key midfield players under Antonio Conte in Milan.

And his potential and quality has been underlined by past comments from former Italy man and 1982 World Cup winner, Marco Tardelli.
As reported by Sempre Inter, Tardelli is clearly a huge fan of Barella’s talents, saying:
“He is very good at throwing himself in when there is space, he knows how to be deadly. He also has quality, which combines a lot of quantity and often even a healthy unconsciousness. I like his values and character, they are typically Sardinian. He has already shown a lot with Inter, I’m sure he will grow and give more and more.”
“On the other hand, perhaps, there is still a bit of anarchy in him. Sometimes he should be more balanced from a tactical point of view. In any case, for being his age, it is all there. We have to wait for him, he will become great.”
Both Liverpool and Arsenal could be in the hunt for new midfielders either in January or into the summer, with both clubs continually looking to strengthen their squads for Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta.
Clearly a quality operator – TBR View
Italian legends don’t come much more respected than Marco Tardelli, so when he’s pointing out a player is high quality, people need to stand up and take notice.

Barella looks to be the real deal as well. Goals, assists, creativity, and a natural flair we always associate with Italian attacking players, the sky looks to be the limit.
Arsenal and Liverpool, then, could do a lot worse than signing Nicolo Barella in the coming year or so.
