The January transfer window has just closed, but the recruitment cycle in football never stops.
Make no mistake about it, top teams are already working on signings for the summer.
Arsenal already want Martin Zubimendi in the summer, while Liverpool are eyeing Milos Kerkez in the summer too.
Arsenal and Liverpool are going head-to-head in the title race right now, but they’re not going to rest on their laurels as they will want to kick on again in the summer.
Speaking on The Transfers Podcast, Duncan Castles has been discussing some potential summer transfer deals, and he says that Geovany Quenda has been offered around to some top clubs.
Indeed, according to Castles, Quenda’s name has been mentioned to the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and a whole host of European clubs.

Geovany Quenda has been offered around
Castles shared what he knows about Quenda.
The journalist says that the teenager has been offered to a number of top European clubs, claiming that he could be available for around £50m.
“Very good passer ball, good dribbler, fast going forward. He has contracted in Sporting until 2027 and has a release clause of 100 million euros in that deal he currently has with the Portuguese League leaders. He is being actively marketed at the moment,” Castles said.
“With the permission of Sporting to leading European clubs. So you will see him being offered to Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, the usual assortment in France. It will be Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Barcelona.
“He’s already put himself in that category where the next move for the player is to one of the elite Champions League clubs or Manchester United’s case, the Champions League. The information I have on The Transfers Podcast is that the current asking price for Quenda will be 60 million euros (£50m). That’s what’s being proposed to those teams.
“I can tell you there is significant interest from Amorin in bringing Quenda to Manchester United. He sees him very much as the equivalent of Dorgu, who can play on the right side.”
Players sold by Sporting
Signing bright young talents is never a bad idea, and signing players from Sporting CP often seems to work well too.
Indeed, Sporting have had a knack of producing and developing some top talents in recent years, and any team would be wise to sign players from this well of talents.

Liverpool know only too well how good signings from the Portuguese League can be – Luis Diaz has been praised for his performances this season, and while Darwin Nunez can blow hot and cold, he’s come up with some big moments.
Of course, the most logical step for Quenda may be to join Manchester United.
Quenda has been strongly linked with United recently, and the player already has a good relationship with Ruben Amorim from their time together in Lisbon.
Quenda will seemingly be on the move in the summer, and a number of top clubs may be on alert here.
