Arsenal have rejected a surprise £30 million bid from Everton for forward Alex Iwobi, according to Sky Sports.
The Nigerian international was subject of a big-money offer from the Toffees, as they appear to switch their attention away from Wilfried Zaha.
With the Gunners turning down the bid from their Premier League rivals it would seem he is still part of Unai Emery’s plans.

Every player in this day and age does typically have a valuation, however, and it remains to be seen if Everton will return with another bid.
The Gunners have enjoyed a decent transfer window. Dani Ceballos and Nicolas Pepe have arrived from Real Madrid and Lille respectively. William Saliba has also signed for the Gunners, but he will return to St Etienne for the season.
News of Everton’s bid has got the Arsenal fans thinking about whether or not Iwobi would be better off elsewhere.
The academy graduate has played 149 games for the Gunners but doesn’t have the most spectacular record. He has netted 15 goals and registered 27 assists during his time in the first-team.

Some Gunners believe that he should perhaps be sold this summer.
Here is a selection of tweets from Arsenal supporters hoping their youngster is sold before the window slams shut:
