Bournemouth won’t move away from their attacking approach
Many sides will come to the Emirates and try to contain Arsenal, but Bournemouth took the game to their hosts. The deserve credit for that and were unlucky to lose by two goals. On another day, the away side would have taken something from the game. They had the chances to equalise in the second half with both Jordon Ibe and Benik Afobe missing great opportunities before Arsenal scored their third. The pace and movement in the Bournemouth frontline makes them a difficult test for any side in this league.
Their main issue is the amount of defensive errors that they make. They allowed Arsenal to take the lead in the first half after a mistake from Steve Cook gave Alexis Sanchez an opportunity that he was never likely to miss. It is commendable that they play out from the back, but they can overcomplicate the games at times and that is to their detriment. That said, they played well and there are a lot of positives to take despite the defeat.
