Tottenham fans will still be bitterly disappointed from their midweek draw against PSV, which leaves them with an uphill battle to qualify out of the Champions League group stages.

But domestically everything is looking positive, as they are fifth in the Premier League table and just two points adrift of the leaders Manchester City.

Spurs have the opportunity to lift spirits on Monday night when they host City in the league and could send out a real statement that they are firmly in the title race.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino has a huge decision to make on his team selection, but most would expect him to have two central midfielder in front of a defence and four attack-minded players.

Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen almost pick themselves when they are available, but there are two other positions that may be firmly up for grabs ahead of the City clash in attack.

Lucas Moura and Heung-Min Son started in the wide positions during the 2-2 draw against PSV, but could they both be on the chopping block to be dropped.

In-form Erik Lamela was on the bench against PSV and most would think he will return to the starting XI, while Dele Alli is available again following his returning to training from an injury.

Spurs could remarkably drop two players worth a combined total of £45million in transfer fees if Moura and Son are omitted.

Moura cost the North London club £23millIon (BBC) from Paris Saint-Germain and Son cost £22million (BBC) from Bayer Leverkusen.

It does go to prove that Pochettino does a wealth of talented options at his disposal despite claims that Spurs have a weak squad.
