Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

The Dortmund forward tortured Tottenham in the Europa League and he has all the makings of an ideal Premier League forward.

His pace makes Jamie Vardy look like he is running in treacle and his finishing has been as lethal as anyone in Europe this year. Dortmund are struggling to keep within touching distance of Bayern, but Aubameyang’s performances are hardly to blame. 22 goals in 25 Bundesliga games puts him in competition with Robert Lewandowski for top goal-scorer and he has fed off the excellent form of Mkhitaryan and taken his game to the next level under Tuchel. If anything, he could be classed as the sole reason for Dortmund still being able to snatch at the Bavarian’s coat-tails.

Dortmund are; it seems, forever in the shadow of Bayern and Aubameyang will be one of the most sought after footballing commodities this summer. It would not be at all surprising to see Chelsea attempt to court him, as all of his attributes suit Premier League action down to the ground.
