Wayne Rooney is a very popular player on Instagram with over 5 million followers and his pictures racking up thousands of likes. Rooney’s posts are a great insight into the life of the England and Manchester United captain; which includes plenty of behind the scenes stuff with Nike, which seen him take on Rory McIlroy in a golf match along with photos where he spends time with his family. Memphis Depay; Rooney’s Manchester United team-mate, is some what of an upcoming figure on Instagram – similar to how his football career is panning out. Depay already has over 2 million followers and his pictures include plenty of magnificent looking cars and shots from photo-shoots with Under Armour. Karim Benzema is another Real Madrid superstar with millions of followers, 11.2 million to be precise. Benzema’s profile is wide in variety, you can check him out in training with his Real Madrid team-mates, working in the gym, boarding his private jet to driving in one of his many supercars.
