Ryan Kent has certainly kicked on at Ibrox lately.
The on-loan Liverpool winger has come into some great form for Rangers after an indifferent start, and recently scooped the club’s Player of the Month award.
He is exciting supporters with his direct dribbling and pace, and has managed to open his goalscoring account.
Kent recently gave an interview hinting that he could make his loan move with the Gers permanent.
Now, Kent has branded the Light Blues faithful as ‘the best supporters in the world’.
Speaking on the official Rangers podcast, he said: “When I pick the ball up I can hear all the fans get behind me – it gives me a great deal of confidence. They’re up there with the best fans in the world. You can see that with the atmosphere in each game.”
Rangers must fancy permanent move
Steven Gerrard wants him permanently, and so do the majority of the fans.
With Kent’s assessment of his time at the club so far, it looks as though the stars could be aligning for the move to happen.
He appears to be genuinely enjoying life in at Ibrox, and Gers officials will be encouraged by the way he has been speaking about the club.
Of course, the player will no doubt still harbour ambitions of making the grade at Liverpool, but it feels as though him securing a permanent deal with Rangers is not out of the question.
Kent, on his day, is one Rangers’ most dangerous players and gives the team something different.
Surely the club will try to put the wheels in motion for a permanent deal, especially with the player continuously improving and him seemingly open to it.
